Follett Content Expands to Public Libraries

Leading Partner of PreK-12 School Librarians Widens to Support Children’s and YA Public Librarians

McHenry, Ill., Sep. 23, 2025 – Follett Content, a trusted partner of PreK-12 school librarians worldwide and leader in educational content and services, today announced it will support the children’s and Young Adult (YA) public library space.

This initiative stems from the company’s deep understanding of the unique needs of today’s youth readers and its commitment to delivering exceptional content and support that strengthens readership and fosters community engagement.

Follett Content works with more than 6,000 publishers to offer a vast inventory of over 370,000 in-stock print titles, including 80,000 FollettBound® titles – the company’s premium library binding – through Titlewave®, a powerful online collection development tool for librarians.

With the largest book processing team in the country, Follett Content delivers more than 50,000 fully customized cataloged and processed print books daily with industry-leading turnaround times. Any future developments will build on that foundation.

“Libraries are at the heart of every thriving community, and we see their advocacy for youth readers as a powerful force,” said Britten Follett, Chief Executive Officer at Follett Content. “We are excited to expand from being a trusted partner for school librarians to serving  the entire youth library community with public librarians in our mission to elevate literacy and build stronger connections.”

Follett Content is now fulfilling public library print orders on Titlewave. To set up a free account, public librarians can call 888-511-5114 or submit a request at https://hubs.ly/Q03K7-tL0 to get books into the hands of youth more quickly and efficiently.

The company will continue to actively engage with public librarians to ensure any future offerings align with and support the evolving needs of public libraries. This initiative builds on Follett Content’s legacy of delivering trusted educational materials since 1873 and its vision for a more connected, engaging, and equitable learning future.
