NEWS RELEASES > JULY 8, 2024
MCHENRY, Ill., July 8, 2024 — Follett Content Solutions announced today it is now its own business entity. The company has a new name (it was operating under the Follett School Solutions umbrella), logo, and website, all while staying true to its mission to empower the success of schools and get books in the hands of students.
Customers will see the latest changes this week in marketing and advertising, social media channels, the launch of a new website at www.follettcontent.com, and all email addresses now ending in @follettcontent.com.
“We are bringing the same great service, but with a refreshed focus on getting the books into the hands of kids,” said Britten Follett, CEO, Follett Content. “We always will answer the call with unique insights and a personalized touch.”
Long trusted by librarians, teachers and district leaders, Follett Content offers the highest selection in library books, classroom novels, ebooks, textbooks, Makerspace and hands-on learning resources, International Baccalaureate materials, genrefication services, and more.
The business updates are just a piece of Follett Content’s growth. Current initiatives include Follett Book eFairs – an online book fundraising offering that helps educators expand their budgets while providing more student access to quality books – that launched this week.
“These are truly exciting times for Follett Content, and we are delighted to share these changes with our customers, teams, and partners,” said Follett, a fifth-generation family member. “As we step into the future, the heart of the brand remains the same while our evolution gains fantastic momentum.”
Follett’s software business, meanwhile, remains one of the largest providers of educational technology for K-12 districts and schools in the United States, offering world-class technology solutions, including the Follett Destiny suite of products, Follett Aspen, and Accessit Library.
