Celebrate Literacy All Year Long: Host an Online Book eFair!

Reading and literacy are essential parts of our lives, and there are numerous events throughout the year dedicated to celebrating and promoting these important skills. Hosting a Follett Book eFair is a fantastic way to engage your school community, share the joy of reading, and support your district’s literacy initiatives.

Here’s a handy guide to the various literacy events and months of recognition, along with tips on how to tie them to your Book eFair!

  • Summer Reading Programs: Summer break is a time for fun, relaxation, and a well-deserved rest. But for teachers and school librarians, it’s also a crucial period to combat “summer slide” – the loss of learning that can occur when students aren’t reading regularly. Our online book fairs offer the perfect solution to help prevent literacy loss and keep kids engaged with reading throughout the summer months.
