Follett’s award-winning, new Lightbox interactive PreK-12 classroom solution has been selected a Top 100 finalist for the 2016 Chicago Innovation Awards. A total of 643 nominations were received for the 15th annual competition, with Follett’s Lightbox one of 13 products in the education industry to emerge as a finalist.
The Chicago Innovation Awards celebrate the most innovative new products and services in the Chicago Region across all organization sizes, sectors and industries. The winners in all categories will be announced in a ceremony Oct. 25 at Chicago’s Harris Theater.
Follett also is in the running for the annual “People’s Choice Award,” selected by the public in online voting at www.chicagoinnovationawards.com/2016-peoples-choice-award-2/. The last day for voting is Thursday, Oct. 6
In just its first year in the education marketplace, Lightbox was a “Best of Show at ISTE 2016” winner as named by Tech & Learning; a “Top 10 K-12 Educational Technology Product of 2015” as named by K-12 Tech Decisions; and a finalist in both the 2016 SIIA CODiE Award and EdTech Digest Cool Tool Award competitions.
