Indigenous History Month

November is a time to honor and celebrate the rich culture, traditions, and history of Indigenous Peoples across North America. It offers a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the challenges Native Americans have endured, while also recognizing their resilience and lasting contributions. From preserving languages to continuing cultural practices, there are many ways to explore and appreciate Indigenous heritage. To support this learning, Follett educators and librarians have curated a collection of recently published books that offer valuable insights into Native American communities for K-12 students.
