ByWater Solutions, America’s forefront provider of Open Source library technology support, announced today that they have collaborated with Follett Content to provide EDIfact integration with Koha. ByWater Solutions developed a plugin for Koha that allows integration and customized values for libraries to create EDI messages and invoices for Follett Content through ordering within the acquisitions module in Koha.
For Follett Content, the collaboration is part of an ongoing effort to respond to public libraries’ needs and simplify ordering.
"Several libraries have shared how important it is to order through the systems they already use,” said Amy Egan, Vice President & General Manager of Library at Follett Content. “Our collaboration with ByWater Solutions delivers exactly that for Koha libraries by eliminating manual data entry and bringing Follett Content directly into their existing workflow. It reflects our commitment to listening to libraries and investing in tools that give staff more time for the work that matters most.”
