Follett Program Benefitting Publishers Announces 2023 Participants

Participating Publisher: ‘Tools and opportunities it provides are second to none’

McHENRY, Ill., March 2, 2023 – Follett School Solutions has announced its latest group of participating publishers for its Premier Partner Program, now in its seventh year. The partnership helps ensure Follett provides the most on-hand inventory in the PreK-12 space to support educators in finding and accessing the content needed for their school communities.

“While each of the more than 350,000 individual titles that fill the shelves of our McHenry, Illinois warehouse are special, this Premier Partner Program gives the publishing community a way to reach more PreK-12 librarians and teachers than any other channel,” said Britten Follett, CEO of Content for Follett. “Getting more books into the hands of readers around the world is the ultimate goal.”

The program also helps publishers build their brand and affords them benefits they can’t secure elsewhere, including connecting them with educators at special events to showcase their newest and most popular titles. Ultimately, the program builds a deeper partnership between Follett and publishers to further support educators in helping students become lifelong learners and readers.

“Being part of the Premier Partner Program over the past several years has been paramount to our sales growth with Follett,” said Paul Skaj, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for ABDO, which provides high-quality nonfiction and fiction titles for children and young adults in grades PreK-12. “The tools and opportunities the program provides are second to none and really help us understand and connect with librarians across the country.”
