STEAMWORKS from Charlesbridge is an engaging way to introduce young learners to science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) through story, character, and entertaining problem-solving. These books feature children of all backgrounds and abilities using scientific, mathematical, and creative thinking to solve everyday problems and answer questions that matter to young learners.
The STEAMWORKS collection provides children with “aha!” moments by connecting classroom concepts to playful stories, empowering children as thinkers, problem solvers, and innovators. Placing these STEAM-themed books in children’s hands sparks their curiosity and empowers them to be creators, not just consumers, of technology and ideas. They teach students to approach challenges from multiple perspectives, blending analytical skills with imagination and design alongside characters who will be as familiar to them as their own friends.
The collection includes board books for the littlest learners and picture books for ages 4-7 – all created in partnership with Count Play Explore, an initiative led by the Office of Fresno County Superintendent of Schools, Early Care and Education Department.
